Case of Antibiotics Leading to Many Candida Symptoms

Four years ago, this friend of mine was given Ancef, Medro, and Augmentin (antibiotics) all at the same time, which she wonders may be leading to having candida symptoms. It is right after she developed massive food and chemical allergies, joint pain, small blisters always inside mouth, constant flu symptoms, joint pain, low body temperature 95.6 to 96.5, low blood pressure 95/65, lost too much weight, etc. Then, 3 months ago, she was given Ancef (antibiotic) while she was unconscious during foot operation.

Now, she feels 1000 times worse. She lost 10 pounds in 24 hours as her body dumped water, now can’t retain any water goes right through her, and severely dehydrated. Blisters all over her body from dry skin, with her face has bad oozing rash and lumps under her skin, skin and scalp burns so bad she can’t touch it, skin varies between pasty white and deep red, legs so weak she can barely stand and they feel heavy, very dizzy, and can’t look at the sky or anything sort of bright, food allergies even worse, and the blisters inside her mouth even bigger. She is in a small town where doctors just think she has fibromyalgia or she is nuts, so she wants to make sure if they are really candidiasis symptoms she has.

I would absolutely say yes, those are symptoms of candida along with a hundred more. You may have fibromyalgia as a secondary illness to the candida. As for being nuts, there is no way! I understand your pain. You need to find a Holistic Practitioner; he/she will get you going in the right direction. Avoiding, sugar, flour, vinegar, fruit and high carbs is good place to start. The book The Yeast Connection will also be helpful. This is a long, painful road to recover, but it is worth to do!
